Magnetic orbit button

A scoped magnetic call-to-action with a generous motion boundary. Pointer proximity subtly pulls the native button in two axes while three decorative nodes orbit around it; keyboard focus keeps the control centered and unmistakable.

Implementation field notes

Use magnetic orbit button confidently.

The preview and source are only the starting point. Use these notes to decide where the component fits, preserve its accessibility contract, and verify the adapted result.

Good fit for

  • Premium calls to action
  • Portfolio navigation
  • Creative toolbars

This buttons and actions pattern works best when its purpose is clear in the surrounding page hierarchy.

Accessibility contract

  • The native button remains centered and fully usable without pointer input.
  • Keyboard focus creates a stationary high-contrast halo.
  • Pointer attraction and orbital animation are disabled for reduced motion.

Integration plan

  1. Copy the standalone HTML and scoped CSS into an isolated page.
  2. Adapt space color, orbit color, core color, label color through the Inspector.
  3. Connect the defensive JavaScript, then test every control with a keyboard.
  4. Review the result at 375, 768, 1024, and 1440 pixels before shipping.
